Monthly scope of work
- Bank and credit card feeds: Secure connections, daily refresh checks, and review of uncategorized items.
- Categorization: Income and expense coding using a chart of accounts tailored to your business.
- Transaction matching: Customer payments, deposits, transfers, and merchant batches matched to invoices and sales activity.
- Reconciliations: All linked bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts reconciled each month.
- Fixed assets and loans: Post depreciation and interest schedules provided by your CPA or based on your policy.
- Sales tax readiness: Track taxable sales and liability balances. Filing available as an add-on.
- Month-end review: Locate and resolve duplicates, uncategorized items, and coding exceptions.
- Financial reports: Monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow with brief notes in plain language.
- Document storage: Receipts and support saved to transactions when provided through your app or inbox.
- Support: Email support for bookkeeping questions with a one business day response time.

Deliverables and cadence
- By the 5th business day: Prior month transaction categorization largely complete.
- By the 10th business day: Reconciliations complete and exceptions flagged.
- By the 12th business day: Final reports delivered with bullet point notes and a short action list.
- Quarterly: Optional check-in to review trends and cash flow.
Timing assumes bank feeds are connected and documents are provided on time.
How onboarding works
- Engagement Letter. I will provide an agreement for you to sign that goes over the scope of work.
- Gathering Documents. Documents such as bank statements, formation documents, and past tax returns are necessary for me to work on your files! We will send a detailed list of what is required.
- Kickoff and access. We connect accounts, confirm your chart of accounts, and gather any open items.
- Process setup. We document monthly cutoffs, receipt workflows, and approval rules.
- First close. We complete your first month, deliver reports, and tune categories so future months run smoothly.
Technology we support
QuickBooks Online is our standard. We also work with common apps such as Gusto, ADP, Clover, Stripe, Square, Melio, Bill, Ramp, and Lightspeed.
Pricing
Starting at $250 per month. Final pricing depends on transaction count, number of accounts, and add-ons. Typical ranges:
- Up to 2 accounts and under 100 transactions per month: $250 to $350.
- 3 to 5 accounts or 100 to 300 transactions per month: $350 to $700.
- Higher volume or added complexity such as inventory or classes: Custom quote.

Coordination with your CPA
We share monthly reports and answer bookkeeping questions so tax preparation moves quickly. If your CPA requests adjustments, we post them and keep the audit trail clear.

Do you work only in QuickBooks Online? Yes. Specializing keeps your file consistent and efficient.
Can you start midyear? Yes. We can begin with the current month and add a cleanup project for prior months if needed.
What if my bank feed breaks? We will troubleshoot and request statements so reconciliation stays on schedule.
Can you prepare custom reports? Yes. We can include class, location, or project views when set up in QuickBooks.
How do I share receipts? Email them to your receipt inbox or use an app such as Dext. We attach them to transactions.
Is there a contract? Service runs month to month. You may cancel with 30 days notice so we can complete an orderly handoff.
